Mary Gerarda (Whaling) Taylor

TAYLOR, Mary G. - At the Woodstock Hospital on Saturday April 13, 2013. Mary Gerarda (nee Whaling) Taylor of Woodstock in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Harry C. Taylor (1992). Dear mother of Kathy Godfrey (husband Doug) of Sault Ste. Marie, Paul (wife Linda), Patrick (wife Loree) all of Woodstock, Joanne Adams (husband Bob) of Surrey, BC and Chris and Julie of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Dear sister of Louise McClymont of Chatham. Predeceased by her siblings Raymond Whaling, Bernice Doyle, Mildred Sweetman, and Patrick Whaling. Mary was a member of the Catholic Women's League, South Gate Centre and active member of the Woodstock Chapter of Right to Life and she volunteered with Canadian Cancer Society for 17 years. A memorial service to honour Mary's life will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 904 Dundas St., Woodstock on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 12:30pm with Fr. Tony Laforet officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment later in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Woodstock.
