Mary (Bierbaum) Smith

SMITH (nee Bierbaum), Mary - passed away at the Maples Home for Seniors, Tavistock on Wednesday August 9, 2017 in her 91st year. Born on Sept. 12, 1925 in Bakaonynan, Veszprem, Hungary. Mary was the last surviving member of her family. She was the loving wife of 51 years to the late Roy H. Smith who predeceased her in 2000. She was a member of Hebron United Church and U.C.W. She is survived by her son James H. Smith and wife Pat, Kenneth R. Smith and wife Brenda. Cherished by Grandchildren Jeff (Sarah) Smith, Tricia (Jerry) Haynes, Jodi (Chad) Ziegler & Darryl (Susan) Smith. Very Special Great Grandmother to Ashley & Emily Smith, Amber, Madison & Eric Haynes, Ryan & Reegan Ziegler, Griffin, Brayden & Colton Smith. Remembered by her Wright nieces & nephews. Mary was predeceased by her parents John & Mary (nee Krabacz) Bierbaum, sisters Regina Bierbaum & Helen (Raymond) Wright. Relatives & friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday August 11, 2017 from 6-9pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 10:00 am.
