OLIVER - Peacefully at the Woodstock General Hospital on Saturday, May 12, 2007. Mary Elizabeth Oliver (nee Hewitt-Wood) of Altadore Cres., Woodstock in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Russell Oliver and the late Grant Wood (1983). Dear mother of Beverly Yeandle (Allen) of Princeton and Gary Wood (Lynne) of Ancaster and mother-in-law of Joanne Wood of Mississauga. Dear step-mother of Murray Oliver (Tina) of Waterloo, Scott Oliver (Judy) of Byron, Carol Oliver Brennan (Greg) of Toronto and Nancy Oliver Raso (Jason) of Guelph. Loved grandmother of Grant Wood, Greg Wood, Amanda Oliver, Laura Oliver, Aaron Yeandle, Kevin Yeandle, Andrew Oliver and Mitchell Oliver. Mary is also survived by her cousin Irene Escott and her husband George of Halifax. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the complete memorial service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00am. An interment for the immediate family will take place later in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
