HENDRIKSEN, Mary- Surrounded by love at McGarrell Place, London on Friday January 4, 2019. Maria Johanna (Riet) Hendriksen (nee: van der Heijden) formerly of Thamesford. Predeceased by the love of her life Reinirus (Ray) Hendriksen (2013). Loving mother to Annette & Greg Stewart, Theo & Mary, John & Barb, Mark, Hank & Sheryl, Marilyn & John Buren. Loving Oma to 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her sisters in law Mary (Frank Hendriksen-2000), Mary (Ben Hendriksen-2016) and many nieces and nephews. Survived by her sister Annie, brother in law Theet, sister in law Annie (Joep) and many nieces and nephews in the Netherlands.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday January 8, 2019 at 11 am. Sacred Heart Church, 131 Thames St. N. Ingersoll, Ontario
Friends are invited to join the family for a time of celebration at Henderson Hall, Ingersoll on Tuesday January 8, 2019 from 1-3 pm.
In lieu of flowers and as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Homes for Hope-El Salvador would be appreciated by the family. Cheques can be left with the funeral home or received by the family at the gathering. Personal condolences may be sent at www.brockandvisser.com
The family is forever grateful to the kind and dedicated staff on Harris House at McGarrell Place for the care given to Mom over the past 2 years. Her final days were a palliative journey enabled by true compassion for both Mom and her family. ‘You care with hands and heart.'
