Mary Lou Jean (Crozier) Harwood

HARWOOD- At the Woodstock General Hospital, on Monday, February 15, 2010, Mary Lou Jean Harwood (nee Crozier) of Woodstock in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of Russell Harwood. Dear mother of Alison Brolese (Jeff) of Kincardine and Leslie Harwood (Robert Stevens) of Ingersoll. Loved grandmother of Emily, Kaitlin, and Alexander. Dear sister of James Crozier of St. Louis, Missouri, David Crozier (Therese) of Ingersoll, and Ruth Anne Crozier of London. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Thomas "Bud" and Charlotte (nee Snider) Crozier, brother Thomas Crozier and sister-in-law Joan Crozier. Mary Lou was a member of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario and a longtime employee of the Woodstock General Hospital OB Ward. She loved her grandchildren, her horses, and her Papillion dogs (Butterfly dogs). Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004), on Thursday, February 18, 2010 from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will take place in the chapel on Friday at 3:00 pm with Rev. Mark McLennan officiating. Interment later in the Innerkip Cemetery. Contributions to the Celiac Association, Ontario S.P.C.A., or the Woodstock General Hospital would be appreciated.
