Mary Elizabeth (Paterson) Fulkerson

FULKERSON, Mary Elizabeth (nee Paterson) - Passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the Woodstock General Hospital on Saturday, November 1, 2008 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Frank Fulkerson (1981). Loving mother to Carol Hamp and her husband Hugh, Brenda Benjamin and her husband K.M., Don and his wife Michele, Steve and his wife Jo-Anne. Cherished grandmother to Marnie, Scott, Heather (Brent), Paul (Joy), Philip (Laurie), Peter (Joy), Jared, Zach, Taryn, Emily and loving great grandmother to Ezra, Hannah, Abigail, Samuel, Nathan, Vivian and Tyrone. She lived most of her life in Woodstock and was a member of the Oxford Baptist Church. She served as President of the Women's Missionary Society for many years, on the Mission Committee for years, and served Missionaries through letters, hospitality and prayers. The family received friends and relatives at the Longworth Funeral Home, Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Sunday, November 2, 2008. A complete funeral service will be held at the Oxford Baptist Church, 278 Hunter St., Woodstock on Monday, November 3, 2008 at 11:00 am with Rev. Hugh Hamp and Rev. K.M. Benjamin officiating. Interment later in the Jerseyville Cemetery. Contributions to the Gideon Bible Society or the Oxford Baptist Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
