Vander Ploeg - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday November 11th, 2009. Martinus Vander Ploeg in his 80th year. Beloved husband of the late Johanna (nee Hurkens) Vander Ploeg (2005). Dear father of Marty and his wife Lory Vander Ploeg and their children Kevin, Shawn, Dean and Nicole of Huntingford and Caroline Blanchard and her husband Winston and their daughter Kaitlynn of Orangeville. Dear brother of Mary Koot and her husband Jan, Annie Janssen and her husband Arnold, Corrie Turk and her husband Kees, Joke Van Marwijk and her husband Kees, Adrien Vander Ploeg and his wife Siene and Bep Landwer Johan and her husband Cees. Predeceased by his Son Andrew, brother Sjaak, sister-in-law Geralda Hurkens and brother-in-law Peter Hurkens. Martin was a longtime dairy farmer in the Drumbo area. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday November 13, 2009 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am.
