VEENSTRA, Martin - Peacefully entered God's Kingdom at the Woodstock Hospital on Monday September 8, 2014 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Thea Veenstra (nee Kroeze). Loving father of Renee deBree (Jan), Ida Veenstra, Helen Kelsey (Murray), Garrett Veenstra (Christina) and Daniel Veenstra (Sheila). Cherished grandfather of Simon, Josina, Kaitlyn, Isaac, Rachael, Jay, Patrick, Nicholas, James, Thomas and Andrew. Dear brother of Egbert Veenstra (Annie), Mike Veenstra (Jean), Henry Veenstra (Kathryn), Carl Veenstra (Sue), Hilda Nauta and Susan Cote. Martin was predeceased by his brothers Steve, Frank and Doede Veenstra, his brothers-in-law Abe Nauta and Phil Cote and his sister-in-law Joyce Veenstra . Martin was a long time member of the Covenant Christian Reformed Church and a avid golfer. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Thursday September 11, 2014 from 2:30-4:30pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 410 Lansdowne Ave., Woodstock on Friday September 12, 2014 at 11:00am with Rev. Dan Tigchelaar officiating.
