WEILER, Martha Jane - At It is with deep and profound sadness that the family must announce the passing of Martha Jane Weiler of Woodstock, on the 24th of April, following her second battle with cancer, in her 62nd year. Martha was the devoted mother of Adam Crozier (Meghan), of London. Martha is survived by her siblings Pete of Kelowna B.C., Mary of Burgessville, Paul (Maureen) of Woodstock, Sue Morris (Richard) of Kelowna B.C., Stan (Freya Grey) of Winlaw B.C., Mark (Maureen) of Kamloops B.C., Tim (Kim McElhone) of Tillsonburg, and Matthew (Rita) of Courtland, along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Martha was predeceased by her parents Stan and Elizabeth Weiler, and her brother Phil. Martha was a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Woodstock Hospital for 29 years, working concurrently with Oxford ProResp for 19 of those years, having recently celebrated her retirement in December. Martha will be remembered for her care and compassion towards her patients, and always spoke of her desire to better the lives of her patients in any manner she could. The family wishes to extend its thanks to the caring health care professionals who have helped Martha through her final months, particularly the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Woodstock Hospital, and C7 Oncology at Victoria Hospital, along with the caring guidance of Drs. Fryer and Tam. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be directed to Sakura House. Friends and family are welcomed to a celebration of Martha's life, to be held on Sunday, May 4, at the Sally Creek Community Centre (330 Lakeview Drive, Woodstock), beginning at 11:00 a.m. A private burial has been held at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
