Mark Stephen Watling

Mark Stephen Watling, passed away peacefully in his hometown of Woodstock on November 24, 2023. Born on May 7, 1962, he lived a full and vibrant life, marked by his passion for cars and his devotion to his family.

Mark is survived by his two sons, Lawrence and Markus, who were the pride and joy of his life. He is also survived by his dear friend, Charlotte Murck, who was a constant source of support and companionship.

Mark was the beloved brother of Grant (Laurie), Jamie (Les), and Laurie (Helen). He was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Marie Watling.  Mark will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mark's love for cars was more than a hobby; it was a reflection of his adventurous spirit and his constant quest for knowledge. His passion was infectious, inspiring those around him to appreciate the beauty and power of automobiles.

A graveside service will be held at Hillview Cemetery, on 5th Avenue, just west of Mill Street Woodstock on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 10:30am. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Brock & Visser Funeral Home, (519-539-0004)

In honour of Mark, memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.
