Mark Andrew Gibson

GIBSON, Mark - On Thursday, May 26, 2011, Mark Andrew Gibson of Woodstock passed away suddenly in his 44th year. Beloved partner, soul mate and best friend of Carrie Davidson. Loving and dedicated father of Quinn, Lucas, Tanner, Delaney and Avery Gibson (Laura) all of Woodstock and Kadi Hodgins (Korey) of London. Grandfather of Kloe and Kaine. Cherished son of Pat Gibson (Al) and Wray Gibson all of Woodstock and son-in-law of Gwen and Mal Davidson of Port Dover. Dear brother of Jayne Rhea (Kevin) of Woodstock and Cherie Gibson (Troy) of London. Mark is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Mark touched many lives with his compassionate, kind and gentle spirit and his loving and caring support for his family, friends, and Master's classmates and as a Social Worker at Woodstock General Hospital and Parkwood Hospital. He was respected and loved by all those who came in contact with and who knew him. He will be sorely missed. A memorial service to celebrate Mark's life will be held at the Innerkip Presbyterian Church, 64 Blandford Street, Innerkip on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 1pm with The Rev. Mark Davidson officiating. For those unable to attend the service, please join us for a reception in the Church Hall following the service. All are welcome. Cremation has taken place. This will be a special time to share with each other and the family your memories and stories of, and love for, Mark.
