Marion Phyllis Searles (nee Showers)

After a long and beautiful life, Marion passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025 surrounded by family at Woodstock Hospital at the age of 91. She has been reunited with her husband, Charles William Henry Searles, who predeceased her in 2013. Beloved mother of William Searles (Susan), the late Judith Ann Searles (2022), Bob Searles (Mary Alice), Patricia Jean O’Brien (Bruce) and Marion Joan Searles (Pat). Proud grandma of William Charles, Tracy Lynne, Anna, Nick, Declan, Jaycee, Hayley and Austin, and several great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Ruby Showers. Marion is predeceased by her parents, Evelyn and Olva Showers and her brother Clarence Showers. As a woman of faith, Marion was a lifelong member of the congregation at Dundas Street United Church in Woodstock. A private service will be held.
