Marion (Tree) Peter

G. Marion Peter (nee Tree), passed away peacefully in her 88th year at Woodingford Lodge, Tillsonburg, Ontario, on July 11, 2024.
Loving mother to two sons, Rick (Karen) Peter and Scott (Madalena) Peter. Cherished grandmother to Sheena (Brian Peers) Peter and Alexandra Correia. Loving older sister to Jim Tree and Shirley (Randy) Wilson. Also survived by her brother-in-law, Andrew Peter, and a few cousins, nieces, and nephews. Marion is predeceased by her husband, Steve Peter (2019), granddaughter, Leslie Boyce (2022), and her parents, Helen (Groves) and John Tree.
Steve and Marion owned and operated Peter’s Trailer Sales, on Ingersoll Road, Woodstock from 1963 – 1989. Both retired to camp and travel in their own trailer. She lived at Cedarview Retirement Home for 8 years. She enjoyed it there, made friends, played euchre, and watched the Blue Jays games on her tv. Recently, her health declined and she was moved to Woodingford Lodge, Tillsonburg.
Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), on Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 2 to 3 pm where the service will take place in the chapel at 3:00pm.
