It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marion MacDonald on Friday November 18th, 2022, at St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener at the age of 93. Loving wife of the late Edward MacDonald (2005). Cherished mother of Ed MacDonald (Michelle)  and Lori Stephen (John). Loved grandmother of Nicholas, Hannah (Bryce), Angelina, Victoria and Olivia.  Great Grandmother to Colton, Madalyn and Isabella.  Survived by her brother John and Linda Thorne of Ingersoll, sister Jean and Bill McGinnis of Ingersoll, sisters in law Lynn Thorne of Ingersoll, and Lynn Thorne of Thamesford.  Predeceased by her parents Thomas & Verlin (Boxall) Thorne, brothers Frank Thorne, Jim and Betty Lou Thorne, Bob Thorne, Tom Thorne, and sisters Evelyn Thornton and Florence and Tom McDowel.  Marion worked for Bell Canada in the Installation and Repair department in Woodstock for 28 years and retired in 1986. She cherished many trips with her children and Grandchildren and was known for her great cooking, baking and sewing. She loved reading and watching murder mysteries.  Marion was a very special human being who regarded life as a journey of laughter, always smiling and full of generosity.   A celebration of life will be held at Brock and Visser Funeral home, 845 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock, Ontario. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 22, 2022  from 2-4 and 6-8 and funeral service  on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 11am.  Reception to follow.   In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, or Alzheimer's foundation would be greatly appreciated.  Personal condolences at www.brockandvisser.com

who assisted with Marion.   We would also like to thank the wonderful staff at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex Senior day Program.
