Marion Ferne (Buck) Edmonds

EDMONDS, Marion Ferne - On Sunday April 17, 2016 at her home at PeopleCare Tavistock at the age of 95, Marion Ferne Edmonds finished her earthly journey. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry Edmonds and wonderful mother to Nick Edmonds (Leslie), Sylvia Edmonds, Beverley Edmonds and Yvonne (Vonnie) Snyder (late Austin). Cherished by her grandchildren Elaine, JoAnne, Cheryl (Arman), Nicole (Dean), Russell (Natasa), Eric, Larry (Trang), Rob (Amanda), Rodney (Petrina), Randi (Dwayne), Rebecca (Nathan), Jon (Amanda) and Jenn (Rich). Great grandmother to many. Predeceased by father and mother Lewis and May Buck, sisters Helen Rutherford and Lorna Willoughby and brother Frank Buck. Marion was a gifted musician who played in the London Symphony Orchestra and Woodstock Strings. She loved teaching her many students the Suzuki method. She also enjoyed her years as Children's Librarian at the Woodstock Public Library. Marion was patient, kind and unconditionally loving. Her melody will go on in the hearts of those whose lives she touched. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Sunday April 24, 2016 from 1-2pm where the memorial service will be held in the chapel at 2pm. A private family interment will take place at Hillview Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer Society of Oxford or the charity of one's choice.
