Marion Bernice Buckridge

BUCKRIDGE, Marion Bernice (Yohn)- Passed away peacefully with her beloved goddaughter Belinda Adams at her side on Saturday, October 5th, 2019 in her 98th year. Loving wife to the late William John Buckridge (2014). Marion was called home to dance with the love of her life on what would have been their 73rd wedding anniversary. Beloved aunt to Gerry (Eleanor) Wormald. Dear friend to Celestia Chatfield, Cyndy Dennis and Josefa Radman. Grandmother to Michelle (Coney) Young, Denni (Sue) Dennis, Holly Buckridge and Jasmine Buckridge. Great Grandmother to Jessie, Jake, James, Brody, Nylah, Mason and Levi. Marion is predeceased by her son William John (1973), great-grandsons Hamlet Alpha (1993), Connor John (1994), dear friend Pat Miller (2004), and son Colin Edward (2016). Marion was an active member of the ladies auxiliary, an avid bowler and curler. She loved music, playing cards, animals (Pluto), her family, winters in Holiday Florida and summers at Trout Lake Quarry. A Celebration of Marion's Life will be held at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Saturday, October 26, 2019, from 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm.
