Marion Bernice "Bernice" (Gourlay) Borland

Borland, Bernice - peacefully at the University Hospital, London on Saturday, March 29, 2014. Marion Bernice (Gourlay) Borland, Formerly of Thamesford in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Allan "Sl" Borland. Loving mother of Roger (Donna, Bob (Cheryl), Dale, Kathy (Ed) and Chris. Also love and sadly missed by 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Cliff and Marion Gourlay and brother Edwin "Buck" Gourlay (2013). Bernice was a strong woman who was able to overcome many obstacles that came her way. She loved the outdoors, music, gardening and will always be remembered for her cute smile and the sparkle in her eyes. A celebration of Bernice's life will be held at the Thamesford Communiuty Centre 85 Middleton Street Thamesford, on Saturday April 12, 2014 at 11AM. Friends are also encouraged to visit with the family during the hour preceding the memorial service. Interment of cremated remains in Zion 7th Line Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
