Marie Theresa (Burns) Macdonald

MacDONALD,  Marie Theresa – Passed away peacefully at the Chartwell Long Term Care Residence, London on Thursday December 31st , 2020.  Marie T. MacDonald (nee Burns) of Woodstock, and formerly of Guysborough, Nova Scotia in her 91st year.  Predeceased by her parents Gregory and Rita (nee Long) Burns  Beloved wife of the late David J. MacDonald (2005).  Loved mother of David (Jane), Bonnie (Mark) Lampman, John, and Marianne (Guy) DeBock.  Cherished grandmother of Nicholas (Georgina), Jennifer (Mike), Monica (Sean), Ryan (Amanda), Michael (Tracey), Emily (Anton) and great grandmother of Owen, Alayna, Abby, Oliver, Adelaide, Matilda, and Elias.  Dear sister-in-law of Mary MacDougall, and Alex (Angela) MacDonald.   Also survived by many nieces, nephews and their families.  Marie was the favourite sister of her late  brothers, Frank, William (Doris),  Gordon (Vietta), John (Peggy), Howard (Betty) and Leo Burns.  A Funeral Mass will be held at a later date, with interment taking place at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.  If desired, memorial contributions to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Woodstock would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock, 519-539-0004.
