Marie (Eltom) Harrison

HARRISON - At her residence on Friday, October 15, 2010. Marie Eltom (Wouters) Harrison of People Care Nursing Centre, Tavistock and formerly of Lansdowne Ave., Woodstock in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Sid Harrison (1968) and the late Jeff Wouters (1997). Dear mother of Jim Harrison and his wife Carol of Embro, Peter Wouters and his wife Betty of Arizona, Jeff Wouters and his wife Mary, Paul Wouters and his wife Mary Jane all of Woodstock, Fran Meats and her husband Dave of London and mother-in-law of Bob Crawford of London. Loved grandmother of many grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Dear sister of Muriel Battley - Welch (late Wilfred) and Clara Aspden and her husband Jim. Predeceased by her daughter Trisha Harrison - Crawford (2007) and brother Ted Eltom (1993) and his late wife Laura. Marie was a strong volunteer with local Hospital Auxiliary's in Woodstock and Phoenix, Arizona and always enjoyed a good game of Bridge with her friends in the Bridge Club at St. David's. Friends are welcome to join the family for a time of visitation at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm, where the complete funeral service will take place in the chapel on Wednesday at 1:00 pm with Rev. Jane VanPatter officiating. Interment later in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery following cremation.
