CARLISLE, Marian R. - Peacefully at Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll on Wednesday October 12th, 2011. Marian Ruth Carlisle (nee Maycock) of Leisure World, Ingersoll and formerly of Norwich Ave., Woodstock in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late John Kirk Carlisle (1994). Dear mother of Mike and his wife Dianne, Rick and his wife Lynda, Ross and his wife Cheryl all of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Dear sister of Josie Hewitt, Donna Moyer (Bill) and sister-in-law of Jim Carlisle all of Woodstock and will be sadly missed by Ang Carlisle, her dedicated care giver and granddaughter. Predeceased by her son Gary Wayne (1944). Marian enjoyed spending time with her family at their Stokes Bay Cottage. Friends may call at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519)-539-0004 on Friday 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 pm, where a funeral service to honour Marian's life will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am.
