Maria "Mary" (Plugers) Reinders

REINDERS - Died in the arms of her Lord and Savior at the Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday, January 28, 2007, Maria "Mary" C. A. Reinders (nee Plugers) of Woodstock in her 79th year. Beloved wife of John Reinders for nearly 55 years. Dear mother of Grace Griswold and her husband Michael and Richard Reinders all of Woodstock, and Glenn Reinders and his wife Lynn of Cambridge. Loved grandmother of Michael and Maria Griswold, Darcy Edwards (Marvin), Kyle, Chad, and Alison Reinders. Dear sister of Cornelius Plugers and his wife Wilhemina of St. Catharines and Geeske DeLaat and her husband Paul of Belleville. Predeceased by her brother Marinus of Holland. Mary was a longtime member of Maranatha Christian Reformed Church where she served many meals and volunteered many hours. She served with the Woodingford Lodge Auxiliary for over 38 years and several years as Treasurer and Bookkeeper, and served eleven years with the Bibles for Missions Thrift Store in Woodstock. Friends will be received at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Tuesday January 30, 2007 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. The complete funeral service will be held at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Rev. Dirk Miedema officiating. Interment later in the Hillview Cemetery.
