Marguerite Leone (Showers) Bartley

On October 27, 2019, Marguerite Leone Bartley, in her 91st year, went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Predeceased by her loving husband Clare Young Bartley (1988). Survived by 7 children Wendelin Bartley, Peter Bartley, Beth Bartley (Mark Clifford), Jerald Bartley (Leslie), Janet Phillips (Steve), Jonathan Bartley (Janice), Robert Bartley (Kim), 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Loving sister of the late Kenneth Showers, and daughter of the late Cora (Parry) and Myrtton Showers. She was a lifetime member of Oxford Baptist Church, an active member of the Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre and gave generously of herself to many people and organizations dear to her. The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff at Sakura House, Woodstock Hospital, Dr. Jonny Tam, and South West LHIN for the loving care provided to her in her last days. Visitation at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday, November 1, 2019, from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at Oxford Baptist Church, 278 Hunter St., Woodstock at 12 pm.
