Margery Gertrude (Mummery) Peters

PETERS - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Monday, November 24, 2008. "Marge" Margery G. (nee Mummery) Peters of Canterbury St., Woodstock in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late "Al" W.A. Peters (2002). Dear mother of Larry Peters and his wife Kate and Beverley Streatch and her husband Jim all of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Guy Peters (Lindy), Jason Streatch (Tamara), Jeremy Gofton (Kelly), Jeff Gofton (Laurel) and great grandmother of Kayla, Haileigh, Benjamin, Jacinta, Alexa and Jacob. Dear sister of Eleanor Watling and her late husband Roy and sister-in-law of "Pete" Harold Peters both of Woodstock. Predeceased by her brothers Reg Mummery, Jack Mummery and his late wife Phyllis and by her sister Marilyn Fitter and her late husband Doug. Marge served with the C.W.A.C. (Canadian Women's Army Corp.) during WW II. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Thursday, November 27, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 1:30 pm.
