Margaret Violet Wright, a cherished soul known for her warm greetings and vibrant spirit, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2024, at Woodstock Hospital. Born on July 10, 1942, in England, Margaret's life journey was marked by love, dedication, and the joy she brought to everyone around her.

Margaret's life was rich with the love of her family. She was a devoted partner to Allen Weber for 34 years, whose companionship and support were her constant source of comfort and strength. She was a loving mother to Cindy (Roy) Teeple, Teresa (John Wood) Sass, and Carrie Sass. Her role as a grandmother was one she cherished deeply, sharing her life with grandchildren Candy, Roy Jr., James, Ashley, Robert, Clayton, Tamara, Terry James, and Ally. Margaret was also blessed with many great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy. She was a dear sister to Rosemarie (Darrel) and Allan, and a sister-in-law to Bob. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, David and Violet McLelland, and her sister Ann.

For 30 years, Margaret was the iconic greeter at Walmart, where her smile and kind words became a staple for countless customers and colleagues. Her presence at the store entrance was not just a job; it was a testament to her genuine love for people and her desire to make everyone's day a little brighter.

Margaret's interests were as colorful and diverse as her personality. She had a passion for knitting and cross-stitch, creating beautiful pieces that were both a testament to her skill and a reflection of her love for her family. Her love for coloring, playing games on her phone and tablet, and shopping were sources of great pleasure and relaxation. Margaret also had a fondness for collecting knick-knacks and adored jewelry, each piece telling a story of a special moment or memory.

Those who knew Margaret will remember her for her infectious laughter, her willingness to lend an ear, and her ability to make the mundane extraordinary. She had a gift for making everyone feel special and valued, a trait that endeared her to many.

Margaret's life was a tapestry woven with the threads of love, kindness, and joy. As we say goodbye to this remarkable woman, we celebrate the legacy she leaves behind—a legacy of warmth, generosity, and the simple yet profound impact of a friendly greeting.
