THORNTON- At the Woodstock General Hospital on Saturday Sept. 4, 2004. Margaret E. Thornton (nee Riach) of Chieftain St., Woodstock and formerly of RR# 1, Woodstock. Cherished wife of the late George B. Thornton (1999). Loved mother of Karen and Gordon Pullen of Woodstock, Ross and Cindy Thornton of RR# 6, Woodstock, Sandra Thornton of Woodstock and Wendy and Dennis Fedoriw of Sarnia.. Beloved grandmother of Morgan and Sarah Pullen, Drew and Jennifer Pullen, Douglas Thornton, Heather Thornton and Cara Fedoriw and great grandmother of Claire and Owen Pullen. Margaret is also survived by her brother Charles Riach of RR# 8, Woodstock. Predeceased by her sisters Vida Pooley, Jean Oliver, Jessie Eleanor (Tootsie) and by her brother James Riach. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004 on Monday 6-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Rev. Nelsona Dundas officiating. Interment in the Presbyterian Cemetery. Contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, the Sweaburg United Church or the Woodstock General Hospital would be appreciated
