Margaret - 30 Year Service Award, Woodstock General Hospital Auxiliary, Longtime Member and Service to the I.O.D.E., Longtime Member of the Woodstock Curling Club, Longtime Member of the Woodstock Lawn Bowling Club.Peacefully in her sleep with her family by her side at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital in Kingston, Ontario on Thursday, March 12, 2009. The former Gertrude Margaret Biddlecomb, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Verne Ross. Loving mother of Dr. Garry Ross and his wife Wilhelmina of Annandale, New Jersey and James "Jamie" Ross and his wife Diane of Kingston, Ontario. Proud grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Mrs. Doris Stevens of Woodstock. Predeceased by her daughter Donna Murray, her sister Mary Parker, as well as 2 great grandchildren. Friends may call at the LONGWORTH FUNERAL HOME, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Tuesday, March 17 from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 p.m.. The Reverend Mark McLennan of Knox Presbyterian Church will officiate. Interment at a later date in Woodstock Presbyterian Cemetery.
