Margaret (Kendall) Polzin

POLZIN - Peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Woodstock General Hospital on Thursday, July 23, 2009, Margaret Polzin (nee Kendall) of Woodstock in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Leo W. Polzin (1991). Dear mother of Victoria Patience (Thomas) of Innerkip, Bill Polzin (Julie) and Garth Polzin (Terri) all of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Alex Patience, Kristen Polzin (Darren), Janna Polzin (Carl), Leah Defayette (Cody), Jaclyn Polzin (Scott) and great grandmother of Paige and Parker Defayette. Dear sister of Roy Kendall (Hazel) of Calgary, Frederick Kendall (Lucy) of Beamsville, Freda McTavish of Windsor and sister-in-law of Jean Kendall and Eileen Polzin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Ken and Ernie and sisters Doris and Joyce. Margaret was always known as "Aunt Marg" to many who knew her. She was active in the Chancel Guild at New St. Paul's Anglican Church for many years and was a member of the Rebekah Lodge. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Sunday, July 26, 2009 from 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11:00 am with Rev. Richard Jones of the Church of the Epiphany officiating. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery.
