Margaret Grace (Wood) Oliver

OLIVER, Margaret Grace (nee Wood) - Passed away peacefully on Monday June 18, 2018 at Caressant Care in Woodstock, having celebrated her 100th birthday in January. Margaret was born and raised in West Zorra, the daughter of John and Annie Wood. She is survived by her children, Dorothy MacRae (Emerson) of London and John Oliver (Violet) of Hamilton. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Leslie Mondor of Winnipeg, Keir MacRae (Brian Garrison) of Cobourg, Beth Bissonette (Roger), Larry Oliver, and Shelley Kinzie (Chris). She was blessed with six great-grandchildren, Austin and Alex Mondor, Amber, Jordan, Tia and Kristen Kinzie. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Norman (1970), her son Bob (1974), her grandson Graeme MacRae (1989) and her siblings, Mary Youngs (Russell), Ernie Wood (Anna) and Russell Wood (Annie Isabel). She was the last of her generation in the Wood and Oliver families. She will be missed by several cousins, nieces and nephews. Margaret is resting at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) where her funeral service will take place on Saturday June 23, 2018 at 2:30 pm with visitation one hour prior to the service.
