Margaret (Renkema) Horinga

HORINGA, Margaret - Passed away surrounded by her family at Sakura House on Saturday April 26, 2014 in her 67th year. Loved and remembered forever and always by her husband William Horinga whom she married on August 2, 1968. Dear mother of Edward and his wife Jolanda, Andrew and his wife Lindsay and Mark (Erin McClelland). Cherished grandmother of Chelsea, Alyssa, Kayden and Matthew. Cherished daughter of Gertrude and the late Egbert Renkema and sister to Corrie Clark, Garma (John) Markus, Bert (Linda) Renkema, Albert (Christine) Renkema and Ralph (Shirley) Renkema, sister-in-law to Tony (Grace) Vandendool, Hank (Betty) Horinga, Geert (Jitske) Horinga, Jeanette Scheltema, Grace (Henry) Kikkert and is survived by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Winnie Vandendool. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Tuesday April 29, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A memorial service to honour Margaret's life will be held at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 735 Frontenac Cres. , Woodstock on Wednesday at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place prior to the service at 12:30 pm in Pleasant View Cemetery, Curries (Those who wish to attend are welcome). If desired, memorial donations can be made to Sakura House, Woodstock or the Maranatha Christian Reformed Church Story Hour Program.
