HOLMES, Margaret L. - Peacefully at her residence on Monday June 11, 2012. Margaret Lillian (nee Pierce) Holmes of People Care, Tavistock and formerly of Chatham, London and Woodstock in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Rev. Melvin Wilson Holmes (2004). Dear mother of John Holmes, Bill and his wife Joy Holmes all of Edmonton and Bob and his wife Julie Holmes of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Craig and his wife Jayne, Jennifer Curran and her husband Tony, Meredith and Mark all of Edmonton, Brent and Katie of Woodstock and great grandmother to Nash and Sawyer. Margaret is also survived by her several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. A pastor's wife for many years, Margaret was a kind and caring woman who loved the Lord and cherished family. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday June 14, 2012 from 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 am with Reverend Stan Cox officiating.
