Margaret Helen "Marg" (Smith) Elliott

ELLIOTT, Margaret Helen (Smith) - Passed away at London Health Sciences Centre - Victoria Campus, on Monday, January 26th, 2015 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Margaret was the beloved wife of David Edward Elliott. Loving mother to Pam Elliott and her husband Tony Koncan. Cherished grandmother of Nathan and Joshua. Dear sister to Agnes Barnard. Loved daughter-in-law of Peg Elliott. Dear sister-in-law of Jean and Ron, Julie and Dick, Barbara and Harry, Luella and Ken and Bill and Judy and Alice. Margaret will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and also her furry friend Jasper. Predeceased by her brother Donald Smith and brother-in-law Bill Barnard. Margaret was known by many as "Mrs. Elliott" in her teaching career at Thamesford Public School. Margaret was an avid fisher-woman and known to her fishing friends as "Auntie Marg". In lieu of a funeral, a celebration of Margaret's life will be held at the Elm Hurst Inn, Ingersoll, ON in the Carriage House, on Sunday February 8, 2015 from 1-3 pm. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Oxford County Canadian Cancer Society and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home Thamesford Chapel (519-285-2427).
