Margaret "Lee" Dent

DENT - Peacefully at the Woodstock General Hospital on Thursday August 25, 2011. Margaret "Lee" Dent (nee Main) of Briarhill Road, Woodstock in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Thomas H. Dent (1999). Dear mother of Tom of Woodstock, Susan Wilson of California and Liz Hernandez of Ottawa. Loved grandmother of Nicole Dalton of California and Robin Walker of Woodstock. Cherished great grandmother of three great grandchildren. Predeceased by one sister and two brothers. Margaret served in the Canadian Women's Army Corp. during WW II, was a lifetime member of the O.C.N.V.A. (Navy Club), a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #55 Woodstock, Woodstock Kinette Club, the I.O.D.E., as well as a longtime member of the Old St. Paul's Anglican Church. Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home (formerly Longworth) 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519 539-0004 on Sunday August 28th 2011 from 2-4pm. A private family service will be held in the chapel with Rev. Bruce Genge of Old St. Paul's Anglican Church officiating. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery.
