BURNS, Margaret Elizabeth (Tennant) - Peacefully at Sakura House after a brief illness on Friday, January 16th, 2015. Margaret Burns of Woodstock in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late William Burns (1984). Cherished mother of David Burns of Comox and Larry Burns of Winnipeg. Cherished grandmother of Tegan (Kelly Grymaloski) and great grandmother of Paige and Avery. Margaret will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends and will be greatly missed. She was the last surviving member of her family, being predeceased by her parents Clarence and Laura (nee Costain) Tennant and siblings Clare Ross (1980), Doug Tennant (2002) Marion Gould (2015), Jack Tennant (1975) and Laura Jean Gillespie (2013). The family will receive friends at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday January 22nd, 2015 after 12:30pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:30pm with Rev. Rob Luxton officiating. Interment later in the Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the VON Sakura House would be appreciated.
