Margaret Ellen Brittain

BRITTAIN, Margaret Ellen, (nee Pippin) - Was taken by the angels to join her mother in heaven on Monday, February 5, 2018 at age 67. She was born and raised in the town of Woodstock, ON, to Conard and Phyllis Pippin and was the youngest of five children. Margaret struggled with a multitude of health issues throughout her life, but took time to enjoy bowling, cooking, reading and writing, an appreciation for art, and in her later years, found solace attending the church services held at her nursing home and private reflections with her minister. Margaret preceded and left behind her siblings, Doug (Diane), Don (Stella), Sue and Bruce, her two daughters, Colleen and Leslie, her only granddaughter, Cyla, her only remaining aunt, Ruth Atkinson, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A small memorial celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 485 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, ON 519-539-0004. Service will be held at 1:30pm with a small reception to follow. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Diebetes Association or a charity of ones choice and can be made through the funeral home.
