Margaret Jean Bonney

Passed away suddenly, but peacefully at home on Monday, October 2, 2023 at the age of 85.  Marg was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, John “Pat” Bonney in 2008.  Dearly loved mother of Guy Bonney and his wife Susan of New Tecumseth, ON.  Proud Grandma of Liam Bonney and John Bonney (Bree).   She is fondly remembered by her sisters, Joan Pinter and Connie Collins (Jerry) both of Ingersoll, by her sister-in-law Anne DeBlock (Jerry) and brother-in-law Roy Bonney (Charlene) of Woodstock, as well as many nieces and nephews.   Dear friend and dance partner to Bill Conn.  Marg is predeceased by her parents, Clayton and Kathleen Lock, her sister Joyce Wilson and brother David Lock.  Marg worked for many years at Kirsch in Woodstock - She was a loyal very hard-working employee and always gave 110%, no matter what she was doing,  from her younger days of working on the family farm through to the last day of her life.   She was greatly loved, and she will be greatly missed.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 11 from 5-8pm at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave.  Funeral service will take place on Thursday morning at 11am in the funeral home chapel, with interment to follow at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.  For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
