Margaret Marie (Kitching) Blackmore

BLACKMORE - Passed away peacefully at Bonnie Brae Nursing Home, Tavistock on Saturday August 28, 2010. Margaret Marie (nee Kitching) Blackmore of Woodstock in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Leith Carmon Blackmore (1998). Dear mother of Bessie (Harold) Piggott, Barbara (Terry) Crawford. Loved grandmother of Jeff, Alex (Shari), David (Josee), and Paul Piggott, Chris (Greta) and Carmon Crawford. Margaret is also survived by her four great grandchildren Cheyenne, Tanner, and Zacharie Piggott, Gerrit Crawford, as well as her sister's-in-law Dorothy Kitching and Lela Blackmore. Predeceased by her parents Lorne and Winnie Kitching (nee Osborne), brother's Gordon, Leo, Howard, and Glen Kitching. Margaret was a longtime member of College Ave. United Church, and the Senior Citizens Club #19. Friends and family will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004 on Thursday September 2nd, 2010 after 12:30pm where the service will be held in the chapel at 1:30pm. Interment in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
