TAPLAY- At Woodstock Generak Hospital on Friday September 20, 2002. Mabel H. Taplay (nee Hodgkins) of Fyfe Ave. Woodstock in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Bruce H. Taplay (1980). Dear mother of William Taplay and his wife Vicky of Consecon, and step-mother of Virginia Kirkpatrick and her husband Donald of Innerkip. Loved grandmother of six grandchildren. Predeceased by grandsons Jacob & James and brothers Dennis Hodgkins (1981) and Walter Hodgkins (1996). Mabel was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 55 Woodstock Ladies Auxillary. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (539-0004) Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11:00 am with Rev. David Snihur officiating. Interment Baptist cemetery. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Woodstock General Hospital I.C.U. would be appreciated.
