CUTHBERT - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Friday January 29, 2010. Mabel C. (nee Smith) Cuthbert of Oxford Gardens, Woodstock and formerly of Clarke St., Woodstock in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of Wilbur Francis Cuthbert. Dear mother of Caryl Unger of Leamington, Eva Black and her husband Steve of Bobcaygeon and mother-in-law of Paul Campbell of Arcona. Loved grandmother of five grandchildren, Dan, Scott, Janice, Cheryl and Jeff, and eight great grandchildren. Dear sister of Edna Mood of Windsor. Predeceased by her daughter Lynn Cuthbert and by her son-in-law Henry Unger. Mabel was a graduate nurse of the Woodstock General Hospital class of 1940, and also a longtime member of the Sweaburg United Church, where she belonged to the U.C.W. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010 from 7-9pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010 at 11:00 am with Rev. David Van Patter officiating. Interment later in the Hillview Cemetery. Contributions to the Sweaburg United Church or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
