M. Pearl (Zinkan) Hess

HESS - At her residence on Saturday April 10, 2004. M. Pearl Hess (nee Zinkan) of Park Lane Terrace, Paris and formerly of Woodstock and Drumbo in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Norman T. Hess (1961). Dear mother of Bill Hess and his wife Marian of Brantford, Barbara Blake and her husband Bernard of Drumbo, Linda Erb and her husband Glen of Woodstock and Patti Gaetan and her husband Joe of Burlington. Loved grandmother of twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Dear sister of Leona Iutzi, Rena Jones and Dorothy Grant and sister-in-law of Ruby Heldman (Zinkan). Predeceased by her three sisters; Evelyn Robley, Nellie Clausie and Mildred Hyatt, by her brother Howard Zinkan and by her son-in-law Ralph Racknor. Pearl had been a longtime member of the Drumbo Baptist Church and was a former member of the Oxford Baptist Church, Woodstock and First Baptist Church, Woodstock. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004 on Tuesday 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Rev. Robin Barlow officiating. Interment later in the Drumbo Cemetery following cremation. Contributions to the Drumbo Baptist Church or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
