McCartney- At her residence on Thursday June 19, 2003. Luella M. McCartney (nee Palmer) of Caressant Care Nursing Home, Woodstock and formerly of Beachville in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Ross McCartney (1989). Dear mother of Linda Lapointe and her husband Raymond of Beachville and William (Bill) and his wife Norene of London. Loved grandmother of Shelley Dejaegher and her husband Randy of RR#1 Otterville, Ken Lapointe and his wife Marie of Woodstock and Steve Lapointe of Beachville and three great grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Bruce McCartney and his wife Edith of Woodstock, one niece & nephew and four great nephews. Predeceased by her brother Melvin (Bud) Fowell (2001). Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (539-0004) Sunday 2-4 where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11:00 am with Rev. Nelsona Dundas officiating. Interment Beachville Cemetery. Contributions to the Beachville United Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
