Luiktje "Lucille" Schepers

On November 30th, 2024 in her 93rd year, Lucille (Luiktje) Schepers passed away peacefully and went to her heavenly home.Lucille was born in 1932 in Eesergroen, Drenthe, the Netherlands. She married Henry Schepers in 1951 and they immigrated to Canada. Together they raised six children and enjoyed their married life for 43 years. Henry died in 1994. Lucille was the much loved mother of Lucille Koopman (Andy), Henry (Maria), Nancy VanderVecht (Ken Judge), Jenny Linker, the late Patricia VanHell (Bruce) and Peter (Patricia). She was also a loving Oma to Mark, Michael, Daniel, David and Joshua Koopman, Nikki, Amanda, Stephanie, Nathan and the late Paul VanderVecht, Megan, Sarah and Jesse Linker, Chelsey and Cameron VanHell, Elaine and Eric Schepers as well as twenty-three great-grandchildren. Lucille is survived by her brother Albert Kamps. 

A time of visitation with the family will be held at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 735 Frontenac Crescent, Woodstock from 10:30 - 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, December 7th followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30. A private family internment will already have taken place. Personal
