BENNINGTON- Peacefully at the Maples Nursing Home Tavistock, on Tuesday, October 6th, 2009. Lucille Bennington (nee Symons) passed away in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late Albert Bennington (1985). Dear mother of Kathryn Bennington of Woodstock. Lucille is also survived by her sister-in-law Ernestine Bennington of Michigan, special aunt to Mary Walton (late Lorne) of Golspie, H.W. Muir (Betty) of Beamsville, as well as many other nieces, nephews and their families. Lucille was a longtime member of the Foldens United Church. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Friday, October 9th, 2009 from 7-9 pm, where the complete memorial service will be held in the chapel Saturday at 2:00 pm.
