GARMATI, Louise Anna - It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise (mother, grandmother, Oma, Great grandmother) 8 days shy of her 90th birthday, on Tuesday March 14, 2017. Predeceased by her loving husband Joseph Garmati . Louise will be sadly missed by her daughters Helga, Barbara, Christine, and son-in-law John. Cherished grandmother to Keena (Dave), Jeffrey (Rochelle), Curtis (Lisa), Byron (Julia), and great grandmother to Ian, Claire, Jack, and Simon. Louise will be fondly remembered for her kindness, gentle elegance, enduring devotion to family and her lovely smile. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Louise's "second family" at the Luther Village, Waterloo, and the compassionate staff at the Freeport Hospice. Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Visitation at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) from 2 to 4 pm on Saturday March 25, 2015. A private family Catholic Burial will take place at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions to the Ivey Eye Institute or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
