WOTHERSPOON - Peacefully, surrounded by her family at Caressant Care Nursing Home on Sunday, April 19, 2009. Louisa "Lucy" Wotherspoon (nee Hogg) of Woodstock in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late William M. Wotherspoon (2006). Dear mother of Bill and his wife Linda of Brantford and Emily Walton and her husband Tom of Embro. Loved grandmother of Jennifer and Amy Wotherspoon and Mary, Margaret and Anne Walton. Lucy is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Nina Wotherspoon, Andy and Shirley Wotherspoon and Chris and Bob Kinnaird, all of Hamilton. Predeceased by her brothers Danny and Edwin Hogg and sisters-in-law Betty Wotherspoon and Mary Hogg. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 from 2:30-4:30 pm and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 11 am with Rev. Victor Krueger-Kischak officiating. Interment in the Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens, Oakville. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Canadian Cancer, Society, Operation Sharing or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
