SMITH, Lorne B. - Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Woodstock Hospital on Wednesday June 1, 2016. Lorne Brooklyn Smith in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Ann (nee Devries) Smith. Loved father of James (Kathryn) Smith, Edwin Smith, Marie Smith (David Lambkin) and step father to Michael (Sandy) Overholt, Karen Overholt and Beverly (Rob) Robinson. Cherished grandfather of thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Dear brother to Dorothy Cowing. Predeceased by his parents Brooklyn and Jean (nee Pallister) Smith. Lorne will always be remembered for his love of music and his amazing ability as a craftsman. Friends are welcome to join the family at Christ Church Huntingford on Saturday June 4, 2016 from 10 - 11 am, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel area at 11:00 am with Rev. Eleanor Caruana officiating. Interment to follow in the Christ Church Huntingford Cemetery.
