FLEMING, Lorne - Peacefully and surrounded by his family, on Monday June 13, 2011 at V.O.N. Sakura House. James "Lorne" Fleming of RR# 3, Woodstock in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee McNab) for over 61 years. Loved father of Lynda McCutchen (Terry) of Woodstock, Carol Fraser (Douglas) of Thamesford, David Fleming (Marion) of Woodstock, Donna Peters (Rudy) of Harley. Dear grandfather of Dawn Osmond (Rob), Terra McCutchen, Steven Hughes (Laura), Douglas Hughes, Trudy Fleming, Chris Peters (Laura), Greg Peters (Alisha), Alysa Peters and Jessica Peters and Great-grandfather of Grace and Ben Osmond, Lily Peters and several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. Lorne was born, raised and continued to farm at RR # 3 Woodstock his entire life. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (formerly Longworth Funeral Home) 519-539-0004. Visitation Wednesday June 15, 2011, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday June 16, 2011, at 11:00 am. Interment at the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery following the service . If desired, memorial contributions may be made to V.O.N. Sakura House or the Woodstock General Hospital Foundation.
