Lorna Winifred (May) George

GEORGE - Peacefully at Caressant Care Retirement Home, Woodstock on Sunday August 7, 2005. Lorna Winifred George (nee May) in her 89th year. She was the loving mother of Robert (Linda) of Lindsay and Brian (Rosemary) of Woodstock. She was a very proud grandmother of Carolyn, Michael, Samantha, Kristina and Patrick George, and great grandmother of Sara. Lorna was predeceased by her husband Gordon and her parents A. Lorne and Winnifred May. Lorna lived most of her life in Toronto, where she was an active member of St. Barnabas (Chester) and a longtime member of the Friendship Circle. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at St. Barnabas (Chester), 361 Danforth Avenue, Toronto on Saturday August 27th at 11:00 am with Rev. D. Koscec officiating. Interment to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery, Scarborough. Donations to the Woodstock General Hospital Building Fund or charity of choice would be appreciated and may be arranged through the R.D.
