BECKWITH - At her residence on Monday August 18, 2008. Lorna M. Beckwith of Bonnie Brae Nursing Home, Tavistock and formerly of Innerkip in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late John Willard Beckwith. Mother of Joan Manchester of Toronto and Maurice (Joe) Beckwith of Toronto. Loved grandmother of five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Dear sister of Dorothy Tryon and her husband Wayne King of Innerkip and George Skillings and his wife Thelma of Woodstock and sister-in-law of Dorothy Skillings. Lorna was predeceased by her daughter Geraldine, brothers Sherman Crandell, Edward Crandell, Jim Brunton, Jim English, Earl Skillings and by her sister Blanche Prow. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday August 21, 2008 from 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 2:00 pm. Interment in the Mount Evergreen Cemetery, Trenton Ontario will take place on Wednesday August 27, 2008 at 2:00pm. Contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
