MAJOR, Lorette - At Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock on Sunday July 24, 2011. Lorette Victoria (nee Gauvreau) Major of Woodstock in her 105th year. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Lionel Major. Dear mother of the late Gerald Major (2000) and mother-in-law of Jeannine Major of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Johanne Bryan of Burlington, Dan Major of Woodstock, Marc Major of Aurora, Christine Houghton (Roger) of Burlington and Michael Major of Toronto. Lorette will be missed by her several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by her great grandson Jesse Major (2008). Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place in Ottawa. A memorial service to commemorate Lorette's life will be held at a later date and will be announced.
