Martin, Lois Peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Tuesday January 21, 2014 after a courageous battle with Crohn's disease, Lois Mary (Johnston) Martin of Thamesford, in her 70th year. Beloved wife of Leonard "Len" for over 47 years. Dear mother of Dave and Kerri, Nicole and Steve and their children Jenna and Matthew, step-mother of Kim and her children Britney and Brian, dear sister of Ralph, Bruce (Donna) and Muriel (Bill) Wye. Dear sister in law of Harry (Mary), Don (Janet), Bev (Bonnie) and late Gord (Lucille). Friends may call at Harland B. Betzner Funeral Home, 177 Dundas Street Thamesford on Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm, where complete funeral service will be held Saturday January 25, 2014 at 11am with Reverend Mark Marshall officiating. Interment later at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Cemetery, Thamesford. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be given to Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of Canada or St. Elizabeth Health Care, Woodstock. Special thanks to Dr. Henry Chepeske and St. Elizabeth Health Care for their compassionate care during her long illness.
